It has been a while since I've posted anything here, I've been busy with my new job and when I get home it's taking care of babies, playing with Savannah and trying to get some things done around the house. I am adjusting to life in West Texas again, but this week I've had the opportunity to pause and reflect on just how far my life has come in the last few years.
Brooke, Savannah, Landry, & Cael all left for Utah this week to pick up Lincoln and spend some time with family. I had to stay because I just started a new job and I don't have vacation time built up yet. The house has been awfully quite and lonely lately and I have a lot of time to realize just how lonely and boring it is here with out my family. I look back at when I was single and wonder how I made it so many years on my own.
I've realized how much I miss Brooke and how just having her at home when I get home from work is such a comfort. She is a wonderful wife and companion and I count myself lucky to have found her. I miss Savannah's huge hugs when I get home from work and her non-stop excitement and talking. I miss the babies, even though they scream a lot, I always feel peace when I hold them in my arms. I've missed Lincoln while he's been in Utah with his dad. He is a great help and is always excited about life and experiencing new things.
I will be happy to have my family back.

I miss you too, babe. I can't wait to see you in a couple of days! I think all of the kids are ready to be home with daddy again, back in their beds, with a routine. It's been fun seeing family and friends but I miss you!
Boy you said it... I had to come back to Idaho and Lisa and the kids are still in Utah. Wish we would have been able to see your cute family this past weekend but it was hectic for a 4th as is was. Good luck with bachelor's life and the new job.
