Turkey Day Revisted

We made it through another Thanksgiving!  The cooking, cleaning, hosting, entertaining, eating, playing.  It's my favorite holiday and this year was no exception.  It was great to spend the time in Texas, though I missed our Utah families A LOT!  I am excited to announce that the scales even told me I lost two pounds by eating my way through the last week.  How that happened, I don't know, but I am NOT going to argue with the scale...(k, I did weigh myself 6 times just to see if really was right).

We enjoyed having Chris and Trish here with us, though they brought the Utah cold weather with them and failed to take it back.  I hope they enjoyed the time they got to spend with Lincoln.  Nothing like getting your (early) morning wakeup call from Savannah, particularly when you're 1)not used to kids, 2)single and can sleep in, 3)still a little jet lagged from a long trip...sorry!

Now we're to December and the end of the year looms ever closer.  I can't get over how quickly this year has flown by.  We've packed a lot in, but even the events of the year can't explain how I've missed like half of the year without realizing it.  I am once again angry with myself for not being done with my Christmas shopping already, though I have started...kind of.

I will soon have our yearly overview posted, just to show we really have been busy, not just lazy and hopefully that will make me feel good that we've accomplished something this year!

I love Thanksgiving as well. I'm glad you had a nice time. And you can send the cold up here anytime now. It's supposed to be in the low 50's today...WHAT? That's NOT December in Utah.
