Christmas 2008

Here are some pictures to prove we did enjoy the holidays with family and friends. I've been horrible about posting lately, largely due to the fact that we've been busy actually spending time together. I know, amazing! Shane and Lincoln both had most of the Christmas/New Year's holiday off of school and work. I wish there was a way to be independently wealthy now, so we could always just spend time together.   The picture of the front porch is just proof that Santa is real; we put out carrots and celery and ended up with piles of reindeer poop.  To Savannah's great relief we remembered to put the celery and carrots OUTSIDE this year, so no poop inside.  She's been talking about that since last year's unfortunate incident of reindeer poop on the living room carpet...

My mom enjoyed a brown Christmas with us, we were once again soooo happy to have her here. Hopefully she enjoyed the lack of snow (the white kind), and enjoyed taking a plane here instead of driving!

I think it's great that we can go to the duck pond the week of Christmas and not have to wear coats! The warmer weather may make it harder to get into the Christmas spirit, but I'll welcome it any day over cooler temperatures!

We also enjoyed spending time with the Snow's, including Natalie and Sandee that both came in from out of town.

Natalie asked for a photo shoot with a straight-hair Savannah for Christmas, so I "shot" Natalie and her mini-me before she left. It was really fun to see them together, Savannah totally loves her Aunt Nani!

Cool that the reindeer came and at the carrots and celery. I'm glad you remembered to put them outside!

It sounds like a wonderful Christmas. We have 12 new inches of snow. I know you really miss it. Admit it.

Wow! I love Savannah's hair straight! What a beautiful little thing. Glad that Christmas was wonderful, it would be wierd to have Christmas with no snow but I'm sure I could get used to it. I hate this cold weather.
