Construction, Cars and Rain

Told you it would get worse before it got better...  No matter how much training and griping I put into it, the boys will NOT put the seat down!  Oh, yeah, and the walls are missing now too.  But to give you an idea of what is coming, there will be a shower back where it's supposed to be, and a closet in the hallway where it was.  And the area without tile?  It's going to be my PANTRY! :)  Don'tcha love the beautiful, retro blue flecked linoleum UNDER the saltillo tile?  I do!  Oh, yeah and take a nice long look at the fabulous wallpaper in the bathroom, it's going to an early(?) grave about 20 years too late.  Just imagine a small bathroom with that wallpaper, AND matching curtains, AND a matching shower curtain...you're welcome for the horrific visual.

This is also upcoming.  We'll let you know how it turns out.  I think Shane and Chris are more excited about this than Lincoln at this point.  That may change.  We'll see.

Oh, and it's raining!  That ! is not excitement about the 40° weather, or the mud that inevitably accompanies the rain.  It's all about lower water bills and greener grass.

One last little thing.  Here's a congratulatory shout-out to my friend Nicole!  Yay for the beautiful new little boy, AND the little bean in the tummy!  I am so excited for her, more than I can express in a blog.  :)  It better be a girl, because she is amazingly creative.  Maybe I'll make my next posting all about her and her creativity...hmmm. :)

That is a pretty scary visual. Looks/sounds like it's going to be a great reno.

The toilet was the first thing I noticed. Haha, sorry you can train your boys but I thank you for your one comment before we were even married. Through your comment Scott was trained :) hehe.

Wow! You guys are ambitious! Looks like a big mess but the end result will be such fun, especially since you are an amazing cook and every amazing cook should have the best pantry. Good luck with you adventure!
