What a week...let's just say "Whew, I'm glad that's over!" and breathe a sigh of relief. Luckily, the week is ending with a great high, General Conference.
We got the big, sturdy metal gates in, and they are lovely. LOVELY! Well, for me and the house, maybe not so much for the babies who seem to realize they have been imprisoned for the sanity of the rest of us. Maybe soon they'll realize it's the perfect opportunity for them to have a break from the rest of us....maybe?
April Fool's Day has come and gone. No, the dinner I had planned didn't work out, it would have, I just didn't have time. The chocolates that OnaMarie and I made did work though, and there are now many people at Shane's office that won't be eating anything I make unless he eats it first...nothing like chocolate and tabasco sauce...mmmm!
We had a disappointing soccer game this morning. Lincoln's team had it handed to them. I think it may have had something to do with the Tornado like winds that were blowing the ENTIRE game. I am a little surprised that several of the children didn't blow away during the game, I kid you not.
Lastly, and the main reason why I'm breathing a sigh of relief...Lincoln's party was yesterday. Thirteen 8 and 9 year old boys, running rambunxiously through the house, the yard and apparently the neighbor's yard is always a good thing to be on the back end of. It was fun, (tongue in cheek) and we'll NEVER do that again. (Until I forget and submit myself to that many boys again).
Whew...now onto the spiritual upliftment, I NEED it!

I am laughing my head off looking at that picture of the twins. They looked highly disgusted! Sorry about your crazy week, as you said, thank goodness for conference!

The babies are looking at you like, "we know what you're doing to us....and we don't like it!" :)!! Too funny! Yeah for sanity though!
Love the chocolate/tabasco idea! Priceless!
13 boys at the party? Are you crazy??? ;-) Just kidding! I admire your bravery on that one! Hopefully Lincoln had a great time!
Awwww, let the poor babies out! :) Sounds like you put together an awesome party -- if the boyswere that excited it had to be good. You are a brave mama. Glad to hear nobody blew away in the soccer game, too!
