Landry proved just how "Princess and the Pea" she is yesterday.
After dinner she climbed in the wagon (yes, a red one that looks just like a Radio Flyer) and Shane started pulling her, she grunted, climbed out of the wagon, looked around, found a broom, swept a couple of acorns up, handed the broom to Shane and waited while he and Grandpa Snow swept up the entire back patio. Then, when that task was completed, climbed back into the wagon for an enjoyable Sunday ride.
That was followed by some time inside during which Grandpa Snow removed his shoes and relaxed on the couch. Apparently she didn't appreciate any shoes being removed from feet, because she looked at the shoes, then his stocking feet, scowled and handed him his shoes, waited while he put on his shoes, doubled checked that they were actually on his feet, then moved on to playing.
Our third example of how Diva-ish our little Landry is comes from the following video. Please keep in mind that the following representation is 1/10th the hissy that prompted me to try to capture this on tape, and about 1/25th the hissy that followed when Shane actually did remove her from the bathtub.
So you see, we're raising a Princess...one who loves to have her hands washed, but not her face, who loves to daringly jump because she knows we'll catch her, and who has the heart to try to help make her little brother happy by giving him books, toys, etc. (if only to take it away a few moments later...)

Of course you're raising a princess! She definitely loves her baths.
But maybe she'll want to clean your house for you when she gets older. I'd take that.
Laura, you crack me up!
And Brooke, Landry and Ayla are kindred spirits. I can't tell you how many times I hear that scream at my house. How did we get so lucky?
I don't think that was too bad. You had a scream that would take the roof off. Although you didn't use it too often. Do you know why I called you Princessinha?
I am so glad you have a screamer too. I had to simply leave FHE tonight -- just walk right out the door because I couldn't take the screaming anymore. Of course, I came back five minutes later after some deep breathing and was able to endure it until bedtime. Landry is at least cute when she screams! :)
That was really funny! I love that you were able to capture it on video! Your kids are too cute.
