The Public should be warned:
No amount of aloe vera, moisturizer, or other home remedies will ease the pain until the pain itself decides to wane.
Ibuprofen is recommended in high doses every 6-8 hours, and ice baths are helpful. So are husbands willing to take on extra duties until said pain goes away.
Clothing is optional, of course, until Sunday church service, at which time you suck it up, try to find the least abrasive outfit and go with it.
This has been a Public announcement regarding nasty West Texas sunburns. You may now go back to your regularly scheduled blogging.
Thanks.
PS: Lincoln, Cael and I are the only ones affected, and mine's the worst. Something about applying sunscreen to all the kids, and not yourself, then sitting out in the sun for a lot longer than you anticipated, and not reapplying the sunscreen when you finally realize you're going to be there all day long.

Maybe it's something to do with the sun in non-native lands....I got a wicked one in Utah this summer! Skin cancer...who's worried about that? Not me!
