Utah Vacation, Days 16-21

Dear Vacation,

Our love hate relationship has come to an end. I loved being in Utah, I hated being away from home. I loved spending lazy (or crazy) days with my kids having fun, I hated the lack of structure and normalcy. I loved spending time with my mom, with family, with friends, at parks, museums and stores, I hated not spending it all with my husband too.

Days 16-21 included a hair cut in Tooele (a town I'd never been too), a drive past the Great Salt Lake and Saltair (which my kids had never seen), more family reunions in Salt Lake, a trip to the Treehouse museum with the Kinghorn kids (and a full day of visiting with them, awesome, I know!), more visits to Grandma Teichert, a visit and picnic with Fred, Dalene, Lisa, Allie and Austin, a few hours with amazing Monica and her kids, a visit and picnic with Kristi, an engagement photo shoot for Sandee and Trevor, games and dinner with Natalie, and a 16.5 hour drive bringing us back home. (I had no idea West Texas had tarantulas big enough to see from a car moving 70 mph...sick)

We're now home and trying to establish order and structure. We'll see you again in a couple of months, until then I'll still be yours truly,
B

P.S. Dear vacation, thank you for the memories, and the 500+ pictures documenting those memories that I now need to download onto our computer...it should be a great evening reminiscing and editing. Perhaps you'll hear from me one more time?

Glad you made it home safely. So sorry it never worked out to get together, but glad we've got blogs. :) Now get going on all that dirty laundry that probably followed you home.
