Dear Idiots,

You know who you are. The person/people who planned the Meet the Teachers night. Yeah, you.

Way to think outside the box. Or the school. I mean you did plan it outside, in August, in West Texas...without any evidence of organization at all.

Seriously, herding hundreds of expectant kids and parents onto a cement pad outside a locked school, expecting them to find their teachers, deciding no one would want to see their classroom, their class list, or be inside an air conditioned facility...bright, really.

And slyly extending the school day by 15 minutes without really telling anyone. Smart, 'cause you know if you'd mentioned it before two days before school started you might have had some complaints.

Thing is, I'm not complaining. I'm NOT...

Because if you complain, then you get stuck organizing the event next year. So if anyone asks, it was awesome, totally organized and fun.
