You know that lack of motivation that I've been complaining about? I found a solution. A weekend with my husband home, and the inability to work on the nearly completed deck because it was misty and cold outside.
Accomplished? Everything on my list and more. Christmas packed up and put away. House cleaned from top to bottom, including mopping with my brand-new best friend. And, Shane taught the kids (again) the correct way to clean their bathroom.
Family cleaning bonding time is the best. Child labor? The best. Particularly when the said children are old enough to actually help, and not hinder the process.
Now, if I could just get the kids to keep it clean. I mean, really, I had a self-cleaning house on my Christmas list and everything.
