The Grass Is Always Greener

Have you heard? West Texas is in a serious drought. I think I may have mentioned it one or two (hundred) times.

It's bad. Like serious water restriction bad. Like increased water rates bad.

Basically we're just a couple of steps from limiting showers, laundry, toilet flushings and dish washing...So far we don't stink, yet.

Right now we're in the pray-for-lots-and-lots-of-rain-only-water-your-trees-once-a-week-for-two-hours-and-seriously-restrict-your-water-usage-before-it's-restricted-for-you stage.

Our lawns have no hope this year, (nor did ours last year), since we can't water them. The only green grass we have is under our trampoline and this little patch in our driveway. Apparently they didn't get the memo to be brown, dusty and ugly.

Bless their hearts...
