Swimming, Swimming

We finished up another season of swimming lessons and finally felt like we had a breakthrough. Or sort of.

Savannah is a fish, and Cael and Landry actually started swimming by themselves. Sort of. Cael will push off of the wall and swim underwater to his teacher, about 8 feet away, but she helps him up to breathe. Landry was mostly just satisfied to realize she can swim, with minimal assistance, and does float.

Both Cael and Landry had to be helped up by the lifeguard. Landry was sitting on the side looking over into the water and fell in, with her teacher and lifeguard right there. They let her kick a little to realize she was ok, and pulled her out. Cael was playing around in the water, holding onto the side and kicked off without holding on and ended up a little too far away from the side to grab it. He also was pulled back to the side by the lifeguard (Savannah's crush, Andrew). But neither of them were scared off at all by the experiences. 

Here's to hoping we can keep up the momentum with some time in Natalie's pool in Utah.
