We visited Grandma and Grandpa Teichert's graves in Heber. The kids wanted to take them some flowers and spread some love. The Heber cemetary has to be one of the best in the country. It's beautiful, peaceful and I spent hundreds of hours there as a kid with Kristi, wandering around and feeling the history seeping out of the graves.
That sounded a little creepy, sorry. But it was super fun. And I'm super glad I can go back to visit with renewed purpose now.
Affixing the flowers, pink for Grandma and Red with a flag for Grandpa.
Then we went to spend time with Aunt Robin. She let Cael play with bubbles. This is the face of a tired four-year old who just spilled his bubbles.
This is the proof that there was a purpose behind the tears.
This is the amazing backyard we spent all afternoon in. The temperature was perfect, as was the company and the popsicles. And the kids, they were pretty perfect too.
Plus Robin got a new toy that day, and I got to try it first. It was heavenly. Then we stopped by Kristi's house for a visit. If I could live in Heber I absolutely would. It's amazing, and they have Granny's shakes. What more could you want?
