Memory Lane

I've gotten this from a couple of friends, so if you will, play along!

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

-Ryan first met Brooke at a
24th of July Parade in Provo. Brooke was very friendly and told him about Lincoln winning a "baby beauty contest."

I feel the same way -- just ONE memory? I grew up with you and love you like my sister! I remember Brooke as a curly red-headed baby with the cutest big blue eyes ever. Remeber the Edenbrook reunion? I remember Brooke running after bottle rockets we shot off there with her gorgeous amber hair that grew to her waist flying behind her and thinking how I wish I had that kind of hair. It was fun to be the fabulous four girl cousins for the longest time -- Charlie's angels and sleepovers were the best. I remember listening to you play the violin and being so impressed because I didn't even know you played the violin! Now that we're moms, it's fun to talk about our kids and decorating.

Ryan was going to post for me and him...that is why he put "Ryan" in his post. Then I decided that I wanted to post myself.

I married ino the Teichert family through a step-cousin. I guess what I remember most is how everyone made me feel so welcome and like family! Brooke offered to give me a bridal shower without hardly knowing me. And even though she was a little late :), it was wonderful! I will always appreciate her kindness and the effort she put into it!

Thanks again for everything!

I remember working with you at Ned's and having a great time with you (and Kendra.) Eating out at Los Hermanos and going to see "Something About Mary." You were one of my first married friends! I always love getting updates on you and your cute family!

The Teichert Halloween parties at your house are some of my fondest memories. You're so great at putting a party together and coming up with ways to keep family close. It was also very fun playing with Shannon in your Orem backyard. When I taught you piano it was funny because I would rather have been playing Charlie's angels. It was weird to have to act like a teacher to you. I love your sense of humor and your positive attitude. I really don't know if I've heard you complain - at least, not without a smile on your face. You are wonder woman.
