Autumn Night Lights

Autumn. Is. Wonderful.
West Texas Autumns are all that much better because we actually appreciate the cooler temperatures. We've actually slept with the doors to our decks open the last few nights and I'll tell you...no one is more appreciative of the Autumn weather than my husband. I follow for a close second. For me it's not exactly the cooler temperatures, because as we all know I'm all about being warm. It's the crispness in the air. The ability to actually cuddle in my blankets with the cool breeze blowing over me (the natural breeze rather than the a/c). Mother Nature's offering of natural air freshener.
I love it!
West Texas also offers big sky sunsets and sunrises. Sorry Montana, we've got Big Sky covered. You have mountains that take up chunks of your horizon, we do not.  We have stadiums instead.

We also have little kids dressed from head to toe in purple and gold...

And wives willing to wear their husbands hats for a quick pic...
(excuse the awkward smile, I was concentrating on taking the picture, not looking cute)

And our "water boys" have style!
(check out the picture closer by clicking on it...)
