Grandpa died. I didn't make it to Utah in time to say 'good-bye'. That might have been a blessing in disguise, but it still stings. I did make it to Utah in time to move his stuff out of his room and cry thinking I was standing where he finally got to rest. I made it in time to spend time with Grandma. I made it time to help finalize the funeral program and I made it in time to write my portion of the Life Sketch...
Shane made it a few days later with the other half of our family. Course, he made it here with the things and the people, just not the car. It died three hours away from it's destination. You could say it's been a week of death, because my phone is on it's way out too.
I'm counting my phone in that only because if things go in three's I'd prefer it be a phone and a car with Grandpa rather than anything more serious.
We finally made it home last night (ok, this morning reeeeealllllly early) with our whole family and a new (to us) Suburban.
Let's hope our week of death is over. (knock on wood)

Glad you made it back safely. We sure missed your piano playing in Primary. Oh, you make it look so easy!

p.s. chin up!
And wow. I'm so sorry. I hope things look up for you guys soon.
I left you a message on your phone. Hope it hasn't died yet :)
Oh dear. Your life sketch of Grandpa is so neat. Thank you for posting it. It was really great to see you. We really need to find a way to do family reunions at least every other year.
We are glad you are all safe and sound! Love you all.
