One week for our family = 15 piano lessons taught, 4 soccer practices, 2 soccer games, 1 scout meeting, 5 school day pick ups/drop offs, 36 hours of school, 40+ hours of paid work, approximately 8 loads of laundry, 3000 sq/ft of floors swept or vacuumed at least twice, church meetings, missionary dinners, Elders Quorum projects, 21 meals, 28 loads of dishes (how does that work?), 18 showers, at least 12 baths, 60 fingernails and 60 toenails trimmed, 42 hair dos (some that last at least 30 seconds), 14 doggie meals, 28 chicken meals, 21-28 eggs collected, 1 yard mowed, 3 porches swept, 1 family home evening, 2 bathrooms cleaned, approximately 250 couch cushions put back on the couches, 150 books picked up off of the floor directly beside the bookshelf, 500+ toys replaced in their containers on the shelves...I think I may be missing something...
and absolutely no dusting or window washing - because here in West Texas that's pointless. It's like shoveling the snow in the middle of the blizzard. But then I could argue that so is picking up toys/books and bathing children...
I'm trying to figure out how to make a day 30-36 hours long. You see, that would slow time down, so we (and our kids) wouldn't get old so fast. It would allow us to get a lot more done and still get adequate sleep at night. Now, if I can just figure out how to slow down the Earth's rotation...and figure out how to muster the energy to really get done everything on my to-do list...

I didn't know you taught piano lessons!! I can totally relate with much of this post minus the chickens, doggie meals, teaching piano lessons, and a few others. oh, and the hairdo's only last 5 seconds around here. Makes me wonder why I even try. You are super woman!!!! Love this post!
You vacuum twice a week????!!!!!! Amazing. :-)
