Utah Vacation, Day 5

Dear Vacation,

I hope that tattoos and pregnancy are not (NOT) contagious. With the amount of tattoos that we saw yesterday at the zoo and the pregnant women that swarm every public place here in Utah, I pray they aren't contagious. There is nothing wrong with tattoos or pregnancy, but I'm just not ready for that kind of commitment in my life right now.

We spent a pleasant day enjoying the outdoors here in the cooler temperatures of Utah. Who knew that the combination of a backyard with grass and cooler temperatures could make for such a great afternoon? Between grandma's backyard and the park the kids love it! I'm enjoying it so much I think I might invest in a nice lounge chair. I'm also reading...wow! When was the last time I could just sit and read? (Thinking...) Seriously, I don't know. When I am home and have a few spare minutes I think about the laundry, the dishes, the menu for the evening, the lessons, and the dust.

I have a confession to make. (Shane, plug your ears, you're not going to want to read this.)

I am being lazy, and I'm enjoying it. I just don't have the desire to do a lot of really fun stuff when we've only got three of the kids to take to do it. Soon, very soon we'll be calendering a lot more. For now I'm basking in the laziness of it all.

Actually, I kind of am bored, maybe I need to make dinner or plan something. I've never been one to enjoy laziness for too long.

Tonight we'll visit with Natalie, Sandee, Trevor, grandma and then hopefully it's movie night with Natalie...you know, the chick flicks that you just can't talk your man into watching. Yeah, I know, sick.

Up on the agenda? Savannah's got a date with Natalie, dress shopping with Sandee and more beautiful weather. Jealous, much?
