It's Monday. It kind of already feels like Wednesday, but I'm glad it's not. I've got a lot to do before then. Something about weeks with holidays in them, they go really, really fast. And the to-do list is always really long.
Breathe.
Ok, so today I'm thankful for:
Calendars, because if I am good about looking at them I know where I am supposed to be and when I am supposed to be there.
Cell phones with alarm clocks and calendars, because when I forget to look at my calendar, my cell phone reminds me of the most important things, like spelling bees, kindergarten thanksgiving dinners, family thanksgiving dinners, tithing settlement, piano lessons, play dates, appointments with the missionaries/investigators, and church meetings, all of which are on my calendar for this week.
To do lists, for all the things I forget to put on the calendar, or in the cell phone. I love lists and there is so much satisfaction in checking things off of the list. I live for lists. Seriously, I do.
Bananas that get over-ripe waaaaay too soon, because I love banana bread. Missionaries and investigators love banana bread too. That's a good thing, because we're making a quadruple batch today. Mmmm.
Online shopping, because I'm now approximately 39% done with my Christmas shopping and I haven't had to leave the comfort of my house, haven't had to deal with crazed shoppers, and haven't had to search for a parking spot. Yay. No, make that YAY!
Free shipping on above mentioned online shopping. Plus we have really nice UPS and FedEx delivery people here, and we're on a first name basis with our main post man. He knows we're Mormon, he thought we didn't celebrate holidays until I assured him that we're normal, and we celebrate all Christian holidays, including Christmas, Easter and Halloween...
Really nice math teachers who let you attend another classes lecture so you can attend a kindergarten thanksgiving dinner and a spelling bee that were scheduled during your regularly scheduled class time.
Friends who let me take their family pictures, because it helps me realize family pictures aren't always as bad as they could be, could always be better, and are more fun when friends are involved. See examples:
Craigslist, because I can sell my crap faster on there than anywhere else. Seriously, 45 minutes after listing our double stroller it was spoken for, and we sold it for what we bought it for...
Kids who no longer need a double stroller, because it was a pain to haul around all of the time. I will admit when I think about being without it, I start to panic, and then I realize I haven't used it in months anyways.
Kids who believe in Santa, and those who just pretend they do. Lincoln is now officially in the non-believer crowd, however he has been threatened with his life to not ruin it for those around him, particularly those who believe and live in the same house. He very willingly helped his younger sister write a letter to Santa yesterday, just to prove he'll cooperate. My reasoning behind letting him out of believing in Santa is this, we're about to have the "growing up" talk with him, and I don't think the "growing up" talk and the "You need to still believe in Santa" talk can coexist in the same person. Seriously, they can't.
So Happy Monday to y'all. TGIM.

I think we think alot alike!!! Happy Moday!!!
You are a brave woman...getting rid of your double stroller!!! I'm not quite there yet. Great "thankful" list! Isn't it weird to have a kid not believe in Santa??? I'm a little sad about the whole thing but I guess it means a little more help on getting things ready! Happy Thanksgiving!
