I'm a list maker. I love to make lists. I love to check things off of my list. Sometimes I put "making a list" on my list so I can check it off. Well, I don't really, but I might, because then I could actually cross something off of my list.
This week I feel like the things being added to my list are multiplying a lot faster than the things I'm checking off of my list. And there are some really important things on the list, like Christmas shopping for Shane, Landry and Cael. Kind of important, right?
But, instead of doing that this morning, I'm making finger sandwiches and teacher gifts to take to school in a couple of hours. Awesome, I know...
I have checked off Christmas cards, making fudge, baking cookies, half of wrapping, fixing the table, so we're getting there. S L O W L Y....
Oh, if you read and you want a Christmas card, and you haven't gotten one from us by, say...tomorrow? Leave me a comment (which I will not post) with your address and we'll send one out. Better late than never, right? I mean they do say Happy New Year's on them, so we'll just say they're early, k?
And, because I'm feeling reminiscent, here are a couple of pictures from Christmas, five years ago. The picture of Lincoln and Savannah may be the last time they got along for more than five minutes without arguing...

I couldn't take my eyes off of Lincoln's hand on your Grandpa Teichert's. Kind touches. That picture brings flashbacks for me of you and I having sleepovers with you at their house. Merry Christmas.
I was wondering who would have to take finger sandwiches. Sorry it's you!! :)
