4 excited children, freezing temperatures, a couple of inches of snow and.....
no school closures.
My children's worst nightmare! Now they finally have snow, and because it's going to be under 40° they have no opportunity to play in it until after school. (yes, their school doesn't allow them out for recess if it's under 40°, seriously, where is the fun in that?)
But at least I'm stocked with hot cocoa, electricity and blankets.

You finally get a taste of what we deal with 9 months out of the year! I'm laughing out loud right now:) Today it's 9 below here and my kids thought for sure that they'd be out of school. No such luck--the bus showed up as usual! ENjoy your hot cocoa!!!
I was disappointed too. I wanted the kids to stay home.
I had a whole day planned too!!
