Playing Catsup? Or is it Ketchup?

I am certain you all have been missing us, right?  The comic relief and humor-inducing stories have been missing.  But I'm trying to make a comeback.  For now you're stuck with a month's worth of pictures that have been sitting, untouched on my computer...

So, without further ado...here's April, and a little bit of May.

Landry and Cael have been rocking their swimming lessons.  Rocking so hard that, well, you know what happened last Monday...  They are loving it, their teacher is great, and I get to socialize for a few minutes, twice a week, with other mothers, without working out at the same time.  A-mazing...

Savannah had her Kindergarten program last week.  If it wasn't such a pain I'd totally post the videos (like all 6 of them), but it is, so just imagine the absolute adorable-ness of kindergarteners singing cute songs.  I know, right?  Plus, only one song was in spanish.  Oh, and Savannah got to stand almost next to her BFF, Brooklyn.

I try to visit the ducks at least once a week.  The babies (yes, I'm going to continue calling them that until they graduate from high school...) love seeing the ducks.  This time there were more turtles than ducks, but the babies still loved chasing them all back into the water.  Turns out the city no longer wants you to feed the ducks, so when we went this last week to have our picnic there, the geese were a little more needy than normal.  We may resort to feeding them just to keep them away from our PB&J's.

I promise Savannah also celebrated Easter with us, but for some reason instead of any pictures of her I have this keeper of Sandee... (Love you Sandee! :))  Shane was camping with Lincoln and Savannah on Saturday, so we scrapped our normal Easter Bunny traditions on Saturday and combined everything on Sunday.  Between eggs from the Grandparents, Rhett and Missy and our family, we probably had around 200 eggs stuffed with candy for the kids to find.  It was a blast!

Also, Cael has found his favorite magazine...The American Rifleman.  Like Father, Like Son.

Which brings us to Mother's day... The kids spoiled me with a beautiful bouquet of flowers, including the most unique roses I've ever seen, a Kool-aid man t-shirt (Heeeeey, Kool-aid!), and a nice blouse.  Shane got me my pink pistol.  Yep, I am now a true Texan.  Now I just need to get out and learn how to shoot it.

Man, I'm laughing at the picture of Cael with the rifle magazine (his dad must be so proud:) you are awesome for taking your kids once a week to feed/visit the ducks--I need to do that more often! I can't believe your "babies" are growing up, they are so dang adorable!! Oh, and a pink pistol??? Yikes! Can't wait to here about the adventures that's sure to bring! Happy belated Mother's Day!
