It's Lent time again. What are you sacrificing for the next 37 days?

I decided to sacrifice my dignity for the sake of humor. I know, what's new, right?

On the way home from an activity with the young women on Wednesday, I was in the car with Tiara, a cute teenage girl from church. On the radio came a hilarious, cheesy pick up line. Something about a library book and fine written all over. We couldn't stop laughing. It was then I decided what to do for Lent. Actually, if it works well, I think I'll stick with it indefinitely. 

I'm saying a cheesy pick up line to Shane every day. Yes, that's right. I'm using pick up lines on my husband. Every. Single. Day.

Because I'm cool like that. Plus I like it when he laughs. With me, not at me.

I'm sure there are better ways to use Lent, but you know, I don't think I need to give up the finer things in life like candy, ice cream and laughs.
