Shane had a project that took him out of town for about three weeks. We'd get him home for the weekends, but two of those weekends he had campouts with the scouts, so we still didn't see much of him. I think it took a toll on us all, but Savannah probably put it best in her letter...thankfully I could snap a picture and text it, rather than rely on snail mail to get it to him on time...
I love my kids, I love my husband, and I love technology that keeps us linked even when we're apart.
