Let me start this post off with a few confessions...
1. Yes, I am a photographer and yes, these are terrible pictures. Be thankful they were even taken. It was early, I was tired, it was still pretty dark outside, we were a little rushed, and I will be taking back to school pictures at my own convenience that are much better. I swear.
2. Yes, I took these on the first day of school. Waaaay back on August 27th. Because I've been pre-scheduling these posts, and have tried to stick to a chronological order, these are coming to you waaaay late. I realize that. Don't hate.
3. Yes, I cried twice the morning these were taken. Once when I dropped Savannah off and once when Lincoln left. It's ok, I'm over it now. And no, they didn't cry, but Savannah was super close and I am pretty sure that's what put me over the edge.
My 2nd grader - Savannah - who didn't have the official word she'd been approved a transfer of schools until Meet The Teacher night just a couple of days before school started. She's at a new school, but she seems to be loving it. She's also doing piano and soccer.
My 7th grader - Lincoln - who is also at a new school. He seems to like it too. He's busy with football, robotics, orchestra, soccer, scouts, piano... and yet still as helpful as ever at home.
Yes, Cael had to be persuaded to be in this photo, it was early for all of us. And yes, my kids are popped collar cool...
