Savannah's 7!

Nannah officially turned 7! Sure, we had her pre-birthday in Utah, and her family birthday dinner/party on her birthday...but I'm the slacker mom who still hasn't held her friend birthday party and she will not let me forget it! Argh! :) Seems that something big has come up every weekend, and now we're in the middle of soccer and it's waaaay past her actual birthday now, so it's kind of tacky to hold a party months late... (yes, that was a really long run-on sentence. Shane's the English major, not me.)

So, sidebar aside, on to her family party...

Her menu: Marinated chicken grilled by Shane, pasta salad, fruit salad, shrimp cocktail and homemade rolls. Oh, yeah, and root beer.

With a strawberry cake. (I totally copied a cake we saw at Sam's the day before. Thank goodness for other people's creative ideas that I can try to copy.)

The guests: Dad, Mom, Lincoln, Savannah, Landry, Cael, Tiara, Grandma and Grandpa Snow, Missy and Rhett, Brandon and Nolan, Sandee and Trevor

She got a hair band and barrettes, perfect for the girl that loves to do her own hair...

non-pink clothes for the girl that has everything pink (Thank you for expanding her wardrobe!)

And a cowgirl hat from Grandma and Grandpa. This one was pink, but we ended up having to go up a size to a regular blonde straw one with a star on it. She loves it and looks so cute in her hat!
