Playing Catch up

Sorry it's been a while since my last post! As you can guess we've been a little bit busy lately. Little Landry and Cael keep us pretty busy (well, they keep Brooke really busy). Sometimes it seems like Brooke finishes feeding the second one to eat just in time to start all over again. As you can guess, Brooke is pretty tired sometimes. Other than that though, we are all doing very well.
I recently accepted a job in Midland Texas. So, we will be returning to Midland around the first part of April where I will begin a new career as a Petroleum Landman with Choate Company. All though we are excited for this new opportunity both Brooke and I are still trying to come to grips with leaving our families and our dear friends. I must admit that I am having a tough time trying to picture life without my closest friends Brad and Chad and there families. I remember when Chad left for Tennesse for 3 years and wasn't sure if he was coming back...we both struggled with that one. But I was happy to find out that Chad was moving back to Utah. Brad and Nicole have always been close friends as well, and we are both going to miss spending time with them--maybe we can still make the annual Halloween party.

Brooke will be leaving the family that she loves and enjoys being around and she is finding it very hard to talk about. She will also miss the friends she's made over the years. Brooke as always lived under the watchful eye of Mt. Timp and she's wondering about life outside of it's shadow. We will be coming back to visit often and will welcome anyone that chooses to come and visit us in our new home.

The job I have taken will allow Brooke to be home with the Children and become a fulltime mother--a dream she has had for a long time. We will be close to my parents as well as Uncle Rhett and Missy, Clint and Karen and family, and Aunt Sandee. We are looking forward to getting to know them better and develop closer relationships.

Shane

We will keep you posted on future developments and look forward to spending time with everyone before we start off on our new life outside of Utah.

We're excited that you're going to give Texas a try. We're also excited that we're going to be able to visit with you and your family more often now. I'm going to try and get some time off at the end of March beginning of April to help you make the transition.
