Would it be terrible if I decided to never take my kids in for well-child checks, EVER AGAIN?!?! It's hard enough keeping kids healthy at home, when there are germs being brought in. We rarely take the kids out because of the effort and what-not. But then we play the role of dutiful parents who care and take them into the doctor's office for well-child checks and they get sick, EVERYTIME!!! I give up. Landry started it, Cael's the copycat and now I've got it. We're back on quarantine status...stay away - far, far away!
Oh, and the hilarious part? When I called the doctor's office to see if the illness could be associated with the immunizations the nurse said no and suggested I bring them in to be checked...I refused, I mean seriously, that's where they got sick!

Brooke, I am so sorry you are dealing with so much sickness in your family. Our pediatrician is great. He has all the well-check ups in the morning, then all the sick kid appointments in the afternoon. They are never mixed together...Its been REALLY nice. It sounds like you need to suggest something similar to your doctor :(
I have always thought the whole process a little ridiculous...but perhaps on a macro level it is for the better!
