You Ever Feel Like Time Is Going Faster Than You Are?

School starts in one week. 7 days.

We are not ready.

Sure, the rooms have been organized. Clothes and school supplies are purchased and put away. Bedtimes have been moved up. Minds are starting to be geared back toward schedules and homework...

Let me clarify, I am not ready. The house is. I'm not ready to give up lazy mornings with my kids, long drawn out breakfasts, reading in bed with Savannah, games at noon with Lincoln, picnic lunches, and my in-house babysitters...

I would home-school my kids, just to have those experiences continue, but I don't think I can. I'm just not that good.

So instead, we'll dwell on what I do get to keep at home....

Lovely Monster #1

and Handsome Monster #2

Beautiful monster #3, Savannah, may be at home in the fall too, we'll see how preschool agrees with her (and me).

Intelligent, handsome monster #4 is looking forward to fourth grade...(4th grade?!?!) You'd think he liked learning or something...

Time is always going faster than I am! Back to school is a fun time, but I will also miss having all my little birds in the nest everyday!

I think this summer flew by. I am so sad about that.

I'm with you! (although, you are a lot more prepared than I am). I'm still trying to figure the whole clothes thing out for 3 little girls. Fun, fun! I can't believe Lincoln is in 4th grade, are you feeling old yet? J/k!

Thanks for stopping by the photog blog! I wish you lived closer too, because your kids are d.a.r.l.i.n.g. and I would love to capture them in my lens ;)!

Cute, cute family.
