Utah...part 2

To mix things up, and just to be unpredictable we're taking our reminiscent trip of Utah in random order. I like to keep you on your toes, and frankly the first few days in Utah were fairly relaxed and lazy days. So, to skip to one of the last days of the trip...the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House.

What a beautiful experience for my kids! How often do you really get to go to a temple open house? (If you live in the Draper/South Jordan area don't laugh, you had two in the last few months...) When you live 2 hours from the nearest temple you feel lucky to see a temple every so often. My kids were excited to be able to count the temples dotted all over the valley. We got to see the Ogden, Bountiful, Salt Lake, Draper, Oquirrh Mountain, Jordan River, Mt. Timpanogos, Provo, Vernal and Monticello temples.

With the insane schedule some days it was nice to be able to reflect on the simplicity and the blessings of the temple. Not only do the temples bring immeasurable joy to our lives by going inside, but the buildings themselves are beautiful and bring happiness as well!
