Utah...part 5

The first part of the day in Ogden began at the George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park. I took Lincoln there during his dinosaur fascination - his 5+ year long dinosaur fascination. In fact, I'm not sure that we've yet outgrown that fascination...

But, we embarked on another trip to this fun park. Since the last time we were there they expanded the park, making it about twice the size with the indoor museum. There are miles of outdoor trails that lead to life-size plaster dinosaurs, a play area and a pond. Inside there are the "bone dinosaurs" as Savannah called them, robotic life-like dinosaurs and hundreds of rocks found in the area, including a 46,000 carat quartz stone. Lincoln, whose fascination with rocks may have now surpassed his fascination with dinosaurs, loved the Eccles Dinosaur Park!

The babies enjoyed looking around, but I don't think they were very impressed by the dinosaurs or the rocks, they did however enjoy the ducks at the pond. Hope that you enjoy the pictures, and note the two marked "Take 1" and "Take 2"...that's what you get when you ask someone else to take a picture of you and your kids - a thumb over Savannah in both of them!
