We're coming to the end of our Tour de Utah. I know some of you are sad. Really sad. So am I.
You know one of the reasons I'm sad? I just realized that in the 600+ pictures I took in Utah I didn't get so much as one with my mom and the kids, or mom and me, or mom and grandma and grandpa, or mom and her house...
I think she made it into a couple by chance because she was helping to hold one or more of the children. Sad, I know.
I'm guessing the reason she wasn't in more was the same reason I'm not in more than a couple. You know the ones I'm in...screaming babies...train at the zoo...She was helping.
So, thank you mom! For your house, for your food, for your never-ending patience.
Oh, but back to the post....sorry, easily distracted, it's been a crazy day.
So, my #1 favorite thing that I did in Utah.....drum roll please....
SEEING FAMILY!!!
I mean, we saw a lot of you (not everyone, or as much as we'd like, but hey, we can't be picky, we fit a lot in...), and really it was the whole reason that we drove 15 1/2 hours to go to Utah. It wasn't all about the mountains, fun things to do, clean air and traffic. It was about family! The Teicherts, Kinghorns, Billings and Snows - extended and close - Thank you for letting us see you! The trip wouldn't have been worth it otherwise! See ya next year!
